El Rayo Reposado Tequila

El Rayo Reposado Tequila has spent seven months resting in ex-whisky barrels, creating a soft, smooth character with notes of caramel, almonds and vanilla mingling with clean, vegetal agave. El Rayo takes its name from Mexican folklore, with tells of the great bolt of lightning – El Rayo –striking the blue agave in the hills near Tequila. When a local campesino saw the burning glow in the distance, he followed it until he discovered the cooked agave and Tequila was born. El Rayo aims to embrace the culture and history of Tequila, while seeking new possibilities.
