Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

In September 2020, Elijah Craig unveiled its Toasted Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey, building on the foundation of their renowned Small Batch Bourbon. This sublimely crafted NAS bourbon is made by barrel-proofing fully matured small-batch whiskey in custom oak barrels that have been toasted for 18 months using air-dried oak. With a cask strength of 94-proof, the Toasted Barrel E.C. Bourbon is made from a mash bill consisting of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye. On the nose, one can detect the sweet aroma of marshmallows drizzled with caramel, complemented by notes of vanilla and baking spices. On the palate, this bourbon is characterized by layers of graham cracker wafers, chocolate, and caramelized nutmeg, with hints of pepper and seasoned wood.
